Description
Tim Marlow spends four months at Modern Art Oxford, one of the country’s leading contemporary art galleries, during the staging of two major exhibitions.
The film is a revealing and accessible look into an institution that finds itself negotiating between the demands of artists and the expectations of a potentially sceptical public.
During his visit, Tim meets the two artists exhibiting at the gallery – Kerry James Marshall, whose work deals with the African-American experience, and Daniel Buren, one of France’s most respected contemporary artists.
